Why can't I create a new post in the Academy forum?

I've been playing this game for about a week. I just logged in here with my preexisting ea account to post for some help in the Academy forum. But there's no button for me in the Academy forum to post a new discussion. There seems to be a new discussion button in every other forum, though. Does anyone else have this problem? How do I fix it?

Going to move this over to the Website sub-forum, but I'm checking on whether there are permissions for that section

I've refreshed several times and still don't see the button. I also tried logging in on another browser and still no button.
