Considering Finn was going at full speed straight forward and Rose still managed to catch up to him, and hit him, from the side no less, she must be one hell of an engineer to get that kind of speed from that crappy speeder.

Rose should work well with Finn, especially since Finn has largely been replaced by Rey Jedi Training as the default leader for Resistance Squads. Add in Holdo and you have the recipe for two separate Resistance-based Squads (since the inclusion of R2, BB8, Rey Jedi, Rose and Holdo makes 10 total resistance characters)
I am more interested in seeing the Raddus as a capital ship commanded by Holdo hopefully with some capital synergies that allow everyone to move away from Biggs + Buffers

So Holdo and Rose. Which is silly. Unless Holdo gets a Capital Ship. But even still, Holdo didn’t fight (directly in person). Rose at least did stuff.
Holdo did kick the exhaust tube thing to blind Poe's guys, and she did use a blaster on stun. If they do release her, then she will be a weak R2D2 with some kind of smoke screen and stun ability. Rose will probably stun stick, sacrifice herself to 1 hp, or just do dmg to Finn...
I'm more concerned if they will be labeled Resistance, or Rebels like they were calling themselves at the end of the movie. Also, Holdo with a capital ship is silly since we still only have 2 dark side Capital ships, where one of them is locked behind an event that has yet to return once. (Guild member teased Chimera return this month)

I don't think they can, too late, they'll probably keep them as resistance to keep the 2 faction apart.
I seriously doubt any new TLJ toons would be tagged as Rebels based on one or two lines in the movie.
One or two lines? Have you rewatched it lately? It was like every 5-10 minutes , and also in the opening crawl and also the ending; it was also exponentially more than they called themselves resistance. CG has said they make faction tags "based on what this character would call themselves at this moment" . The only reason not to list them as rebels would be in game faction balance, but Disney has said they want the games to be canon so it will be interesting to see. The recent dev interview with IANRAJ also said "the story has always been about rebels"
IMO, "Hold on to what you love" is more of Rose than Holdo. "Who's in Command here? One has to Look" had Command and Look(=Luke) capitalized.
I am not enthusiastic about Rose or Holdo in game, but if anyone is to blame, I believe it's Disney. I suspect there's a line in the contract between Disney and EA, which allows Disney to decide characters which EA must add to this game.
I doubt EA is ignorant of people's distaste for Holdo and Rose. Even critics in favor of TLJ said Rose's Casino scene is a weak spot in the plot. EA would know adding Holdo and Rose can make players distressed. And the things is that EA does care what fans like and what fans don't. EA kept CUP and Mob Enforcer untouched, while Boba Fett, Empire, Troopers got rework. We had Double Drop twice for Rey's Hero's Journey, when Double Drop happend only once for other events.
When a company does something which upsets its customers, often there's a good reason for that, and I suspect it is Disney that is behind this Rose incident.
And if we can put aside our distress for Holdo and Rose, we can have 2 full Resistance teams that will do wonders in Raids and TWs. Holdo and Rose will be pretty potent, considering that Disney played favorites on female characters in TLJ film.
P.S. If it stresses you too much, then brainwash yourselves into viewing them as "Weed Tico" and "Holdumb" instead of "Rose Tico" and "Holdo", the way Mark Hamill considered Luke Skywalker in TLJ as "Jake Skywalker".

That's "rebels" with a small "r". Resistance doesn't have a parallel - what were they supposed to say, "resistancers?" "resisters?" The two words are essentially synonyms, but the organization is the Resistance, not the Rebel Alliance. Doesn't mean they can't call themselves "rebels."
Just come to think about it, I think this new tlj resistance could be highly tenacious one, so strong that cannot be debuffed at all unless tenacity down is inflicted somehow.

What is he all about? Counterattack. He attack back. But why? Does he attack back in movie? Probably the reason is in this silly pun. Because he is "rebel". Rebel is by definition, " A person who rises in opposition or armed resistance against an established government or ruler."

Now the focus is Resistance. They should resist debuffs.
