Broken function on gate in raid

Not sure if I posted in the wrong place initially. But here it goes.

Apparently you can hit the gate pad even after you've destroyed it and the rancor has recovered. While the turn meter is building on the pad, it is available to 'target' and attack. Really messed up my run on HPIT.

First time I've heard of this. I trust you have some evidence otherwise everyone will just dismiss you.

I saw this earlier today as well. It was my first time trying the second phase, so I assumed it was supposed to be like that. I threw a couple attacks at it, saw it wasn't losing health, and proceeded to just ignore it. But it definitely was targetable and attackable while recovering.
