Confused by GG unique skill

It says that if he drops below 50% he forces an ally to taunt for 1 turn and gives him 100% turn meter.

Wouldn't this mean that the taunting character would go next and then immediately lose the taunt?

What is the benefit of the taunt?

Ally gains taunt, GG gains turn meter.

That's not what the description says. It says if he does that the ally gains 100% turn meter.

The only thing I can think of is that leveling the skill will add a number turns of taunt more than one.

Why does it say that ally also gains 100% turn meter? I see what you mean OP.
