Is this getting looked at? I should be at 15/30 after the Marquee vents but only showing 0/30. This is technically around 2400 crystals worth of shards missing, so what is being done about this?
Why is it a nightmare to get fixed? CG regularly give crystals to what seems like a random group of the player base. People received crystals for buying Captain Han Solo packs but not everyone, people have received crystals for buying Holdo packs, but not everyone. It really seems like CG doesn't want to admit they made a mistake.
Hmm. I just noticed that I am one those that has 0/30 on both despite completing the marquee events. I’m not sure that I’ll even bother with a ticket. The release cadence has made me pretty ambivalent toward new toons.
I'm at 0/30, but it never once crossed my mind that it's a bug. I just figured they decided to give us less shards. I've never seen anywhere that all marquee events for named toons will always give exactly x number of shards forever. They said we'd get named toons at 3*, and no names at 2*, which they did. I just thought they got a little cheap on us this time. Interesting that Kozi aknowledged it as a bug.
Under level 80 got 15/30, over level 80 got 0/30. I'm surprised they aren't more concerned about this since it means those over level 80 have no incentive to purchase packs.
You only get less shards if you're L80 or above. So... people that have been playing longer got less. That's the issue here.
If that's the way it's intended, so be it. Just come out and say so. If not, CG needs to own their mistake and fix it, not tell people to talk to EA support, which inevitably responds by telling you to post it in the forums.
Nobody appreciates getting sent on wild goose chases.
All other marquee events, having completed all tiers, would put you at 3* 15/30 but this one did not. Good luck to anyone trying to get their shards back and share with your guilds/arena mates and everyone else so they can get theirs too (if they’re willing to go through the ringer with EA Help)

It’s a nightmare because of EA Help. I tried submitting a ticket, was told wrong department and closed the ticket. Tried somewhere else and the website was down. Apparently the only way to get it fixed is to call in but the support team doesn’t know about the error yet. So nothing is being done about it.

WAI apparently.
Yes it was only 50 shards from events but apparently some lower level accounts ended up with 15/30
And it's also weird that the packs only award 25 shards when you need 30 for four stars. (i.e. not weird at all, but rather annoying)

Customer service is unaware of the issue and requests a screenshot of “the claim that you will receive 65 total shards for the character”. It should not be every single individual players job to make this right, CG needs to take responsibility here
