Zeta RNG = 0 drop forever?

Okay- So it is possible for the Challenge to NOT drop any zeta for a very long time and possibly indefinitely (in theory this is possible).

In some games like Diablo2, they have a concept of a pity counter. Where after a certain amount of time you dont get anything good. (meaning the legendary doesnt ever drop), they have an internal pity counter that gives you a drop.


I think we need a pity counter for Zeta challenges.

OR something similar to a pity counter that is more visual to the player.

Here's the solution example:

Whenever you do zeta challenge, if 0 zeta drop, you get 1 zeta shard. This acts as a counter. When you get a zeta, no shard drop. After a while if you collect enough shards, you can trade it in for a FULL piece.

This is just very similar to the idea of precrafts and salvages. If you don't get a precraft, you collect salvages to create the full item.


I think Zetas need a mechanic for us to obtain Zeta rather than deal with the RNG of never ever getting zetas to drop.
