Did i miss ship omegas add in the game?

There is a guy on my ship shard (whale in all means), who has lvl 7 abilities on specials of two ships - on tie fighter and tie advance. Both had to cost 15 ship omegas together... so im asking, was there ever a chance to obtain any ships omegas in the game?
Or is it bug? Or is he cheating somehow?

They were available in the Gauntlet ship bundle last year. So far, ship bundles have been the only way to get ship omegas.

Closing no, because it would be nice to include these ship omega in the game. It seems that some players have it since one year, so why not opening it to others players?
