Need Help

I'm not excactly a new player but I've just started playing again 2 months ago and I don't really know what I'm doing. I was just hoping to get some farming guidance as I don't know what to do. I'm currently farming Wiggs, Leia, Old Ben and Chirrut.

Well, I resumed playing my account after a very long break. If I had to do it over again, I'd start a new account. My GP is now +850,000, and the top players in my arena shard are over 3 million. I can stay in the ~600 range in arena, breaking into the 490's for payout once. I know that I'll be lucky to work into the 250 range in the next year, and the payouts will always be low. Look at your arena leaders, and see how far ahead of you they are. It will most likely stay that way.

If you can accept that:

After looking at your profile, I'd first suggest scoundrels, until you can finish the highest tier of credit heist. You will need credits/training droids first and foremost. Once you get your first big credit heist payoff, you'll be happy you did.

Then pick a faction that you want to go after, and make it happen. I chose Rebels, and worked to level them up. Next I went after Empire. Now I am doing Phoenix.

You have a good start on Rebels, and I'd continue that. Don't neglect StormTrooper Han. I'd work on him after you finish Leia.

Dual purpose characters are a good bet. Boba Fett is a scoundrel, and a pilot. Etc...

Many will tell you to start again, and you could. Personally, unless you plan on being ultra-competitive I'd say carrying on is not a waste of time. You have some great characters already.

For Arena I'd go for Wedge (lead), Biggs, Leia, Old Ben and Boba.

You already have some great Empire characters. Farm these to get R2 and replace Boba with him. Farm the heck out of Leia, she is awesome. You also need Leia, R2, Old Ben and STHan...as wel as Farmboy Luke to get Commander Luke.

Farm Phoenix- they are Rebels and super-useful and you get Thrawn with them who is awesome and will fit into your Empire team.

That video is a bit out of date. With UKR now available in Cantina, a full 5-member FO squad is not too difficult to farm. Two from Cantina nodes (UKR, Krylo), 1 from GW (Phasma), 1 from cantina store (FOO), 1 from fleet store (FOTP).

Let's just count them up, and choose the shortest path.

Path to CLS:

1. Palpatine & Thrawn: 5 Rebels and/or Phoenix
   • 2 Cantina Nodes: Hera (1F), Ezra (2B)
   • 1 Cantina Store: Chopper
   • 1 GW Store: Zeb
   • 1 Arena Store: Kanan
2. R2: 5 Empire heroes
   • 2 Legendaries: Palpatine, Thrawn
   • 1 Cantina Node: TFP (4B)
   • 1 GW Store: Magooper
   • 1 Arena Store: Tarkin
3. CLS: 5 allies for Hero's Journey
   • 1 Legendary: R2
   • 2 Cantina Nodes: Farmboy (1B), Old Ben (2F)
   • 2 Arena Store: St Han, Leia

Final count (15): 2 gw, 4 arena, 5 cantina nodes, 1 cantina store, 3 legendaries

Path to JTR:

1. BB8: 5 First Order
   • 2 Cantina Nodes: UKR (3F), Krylo (4C)
   • 1 Cantina Store: FOO
   • 1 GW Store: Phasma
   • 1 Fleet Store & Hard Node: FOTP
2. JTR: 5 allies for Hero's Journey

Final Count (10): 1 gw, 5 cantina nodes, 1 cantina store, 1 guild store, 1 fleet store, 1 legendary

So which is actually harder? Need more characters for CLS, but the VS are later farms and guild/fleet farms are generally longer. However, you can farm FOTP and Scav concurrent with the other farms. Arena farms are not that quick and you need 4 for CLS.

The pain level is about the same, but the VS farm makes JTR just a tick more painful to me ... probably because I have not completed them yet.

I agree that scoundrels will be very important as credit heist is a major source of credits- needed for leveling characters and mods. As you already have a 7* character, you may want to try to get into a guild that is running Heroic Rancor raids.This will give you access to better raid gear drops and give you shards for Han Solo, who is one of the best characters in the game.
