Zetas affect ships?

Does anyone know if a zeta on a character affects the strength of the ship? Considering putting one on Tarkin and not sure if it’s worth it.

Zetas increase character power. Character power turns into crew power. So, yes a zeta makes a ship stronger. But, I wouldn't recommend spending a zeta strictly for ships. If you want tarkins zeta anyway though, consider it a bonus affect when weighing benefits for who to zeta next.
