Make sure you are still on 4x speed play. This happened to me once

See if you have an update for your phone or if a background program is running. There was a lag spike early so I just logged out, logged back in, problem solved. Ships is the only horrible slow fight now. No idea why it slows down to a crawl the first 3 rounds, but when this happens it also seems all my ships miss their targets. Most likely it’s just a lot of folks on the game server at the same time. SWTOR MMO does that a lot, too.

This sounds like a phone issue, storage, update or something going on in the background. Please post AT Answers HQ, as there may be something they can do.
