Left by design. The fixed payout times are the worst part of this game and makes it absolutely family-unfriendly.

Not such a great story for me. I built a hybrid droid team (Poggle (L), GS, IG-86, Dooku, Sid/Lumi/Eeth/QGJ as appropriate) and managed to take number 1 about four times. Then the whales in my server all upped their game, and now they're untouchable again.
I'm still able to sneak into the top five if I pick a path.
