Ships desperately needs variety

It all comes down to RNG with target locks sticking or not.
This mode desperately needs some variety; where's the hardware already?

I don’t see hardware affecting what ships are used in the meta. Assuming hardware is just like mods for toons. We need a heavy influx of ships to change what is working right now.
