2 concept ideas to add to the Game Experience

I would probably consider this a love letter to the Developers.
In the spirit, that love promotes another to become better.
( if it makes sense)

I believe that people enjoy being challenged, despite how We long for life to be easy, a challenge is that spice that takes the dish to a new flavor. And I have 2 challenges for the Capitol Games/ Electronic Arts developers, which can add some spice to the Galaxy of Heroes dish. If they want to step into the kitchen?

Warning- I may digress and ramble. It is how I write. You've been warned.

Is not an original idea at all. But, one that will take this game to a different state. RPG style metas are almost always based on some grind style that leads to O.P. Uber Status. Which has a predictable road followed to a predictable end game. It is the strength of the genre, and its limitation.

Make a O.P. character & Hulk Smash.
Gear, Equipment, spell, buffs, rebuffs, and sometimes balance. All contribute to the players success, overtime. (Mostly Turn Based or such)

Unlike Fighter Games where the players Real Time actions detrimental the players success. (Mostly the skills acquired overtime playing and learning)

Well My Idea is borrowed from an old R.P.G. that took the O.P. meta (mentality) and just tosses it out the window. And challenges a player to adapt, strategize, and survive something akin to a fighter (mentality).

For anybody who has ever played Final Fantasy VII- and defeated the Battle Areana, You found a mode that spiced Your life that day.

The mode was ingenious. You had 1 character enter and had to win 8 battles in a row. After each battle a slot wheel spun, that You clicked to reveal the handicap for the next battle. You had the same health, magic, buffs, debuffs, etc carry over to the next battle. The Wheel would have positive/ negative possibilities. And They were completely random. You could have a round where You could lose 1 color of materia, (Red, Blue, Purple, Green etc would be the color). Sometimes it was brutal and utterly UNFAIR. Like losing All Materia as the only option on the entire wheel for that round, and those battles only got worse as You went on.

Sometimes the Wheel gave You Bonus's or neutral. Rare, but it was in there.

The Handicaps would make the average fight difficult. This was why it was ingenious. You had 8 fights to survive. And the 1 vs. 1 against a different boss 8 times under handicap, made actually have to adapt, and such.

If You survived and triumphed You got some Casino Currency to spend. A decent amount. It was always worth a few battles.

Galaxy of Heroes needs this Mode!!
In Final Fantasy VII O.P. characters meant nothing unless You actually were any good with nothing.

This game already has R.N.G. so it should be some kind of doable.
Can a player Win with No Gear, 40 levels down, Dazed, w/ Defense Up and then finish 3 more battles?

You could give victorious players a choice of what currency They would like. (Star Trek Online does this reward system offering 25-50 reputation marks of like 6 types of reputation, to aid in Grinds)
So,
200, Cantina, Squad, Galactic, Fleet, or other such stores.
10 crystals.
Some credits and\ or fleet credits.
(You'd have to determine the prize (s) based on Your balance metrics)

#2)
Is an idea that came about from watching YouTube channels for Galaxy of Heroes. ArnaldT10, Mobile Gammer, Cubs Fan Han, and several others.

At some point each of them mentions that You really only have about 12 characters that concern with. (The Main Metas).
Which is common in Gaming. Which makes the cynical question inevitable- Why even have over 100+ characters if 12 or so are all that You need. Nastolgia? Or can We make every character relevant?
Oh, I smell a challenge cooking up.

You already have the concept within the Game. Galactic War!!!
I'll explain My crazy.

Once a character dies in Galactic they are unusable for the day- but available in other modes. Correct? Yup.
My idea draws from this and 2 other games. (XCOM2 W.of.T.C., and Stay Trek Online)

S.T.O. have difficulty options that You can switch between during game play.
Normal
Advanced
Elite

S.T.G.O.H. can have a version where You decide Your difficulty each day when collecting Daily Rewards. Monday- I'll play elite, Tuesday- Advanced, Wednesday- Normal, etc.

Normal-
Begin just that Normal.

Advanced-
If You lose a Character in a Mode it is unavailable for the Day, in that Mode. If You Lose B.B.8 in Cantina, He is gone for the day in Cantina, but available elsewhere.

Elite-
This is how You make all characters relevant again!! :-)
(Xcom has a system of side mission where You assign characters to it while You campaign onward. Those character are not available for Your campaign until they complete the side mission, thus making You decide more carefully).
A Galaxy of Heroes Elite player would have only 1 use of a character,. Once They use General Kenobi in Squad, He becomes unavailable anywhere else for the day.

Players would have to choose wisely about what They commit, and to where.

When They want to Sim Daily Challenges, They have to choose who goes for the Sim.
Same for:
Dark Side
Light Side
Cantina
Raids
Mod Challenges
Territory
Events
Galactic War.....

An Elite Player would be challenged to use:
Jawas
Ewoks
Scoundrels
Bounty Hunters
Tuskens
Droids
Etc

Far more then currently with the main 12 mix/ match metas.

And Option- If that Character Dies They lose the Use of Them for the Day.
Or increase The difficulty level of enemies as well based on players choice of difficulty. (There is already ranks for enemies- Elite/ Boss)

You can Tier prizes based on Difficulty Level adding further Player Choice to the Game.

Most Important of All-
Players will have 100+ Relevant Characters if They Chose.

So, Ya.
I would Love to see this Game evolve greater in 2018, 2019, 2020.

These ideas may not be possible on a mobile app, since They are based on console and p.c. concepts. But They can really add that Spice to this dish giving Players just that extra bite of Awesome.
