Why don't my ability upgrades actually work?

It is extremely disappointing to try to do PvP when nothing works.
My squad is all 7*, max level, max gear, and max ability upgrades. Yet, I can't get anywhere close to my rank during the beta. I barely see the underside of 100, and freefall defensively, when I know I shouldn't.

EA, is wrong with your game?

My Sid rarely gets a Heal Immunity. My Old Daka never revives anybody in PvP. Boba never revives himself. Dooku gets an extra attack rarely, while opponents get as many as four in a row, plus full meter.
