Hello everybody,
I have an idea to get more characters because some characters group are useless, e.g. the faction "Rogue One" there are 9 of them and only Jyn Erso gets a leader ability. We need one more like "Ruescott Melshi" with a leader ability to lead the second troop of Rogue One.
I think we need more characters for this faction: • Dark Side
Well, the Star Wars universe is so vast that we could ask for thousands of new characters and that's not possible. I would however prioritize iconic characters over generic ones. Like, we are very short on ships, why the hell do we have 3 generic geonosian pilots while not any of the available Lukes, the best pilot in the galaxy?Makes no sense to me.
I would also like to see more new or reworked characters that are loyal to their own theme, something that actually makes the player feel they are using that character and not just "ok lets make Resistance the expose team and First order the Heavy crits team".
In a game format like this one where you can chose up to 3-4 abilities per character, it should be hard to decide what to leave out, not to be hard to think of stuff to fill the character kit, which is what I feel in some cases. Let's see Vader for instance. Why in the world should Vader have an ability slot wasted on a simple saber hit that ability blocks WHERE you are leaving out one of the most iconic abilities in the saga as could be choking someone with the Force? (Which in terms of gameplay could be something like "stuns and and apply 2 dot stacks" or "stuns and expose" ). The feel is like "hmmm wait sith teams don't have any ability block, maybe we should add one? Hmmm ok, where? Hmmm don't know, maybe Vader's basic? Meh, ok".
If I were to develop a character I would first look at the concept and references to bring that character to life ingame. If it doesn't fit in a certain team, that's ok, thats why you have hundres of them for you to chose, don't try to make him the perfectly rounded balanced character to make everyone happy with him, it has to be Vader first of all and do Vaderish things.
This idea goes for many other characters too, of course. I believe changes on that line would help players get in the skin of characters and have more fun, not just see them as "competitive or not ability kits".
There are too many interesting characters with wasted potential, using abilities shared with dozens of other characters. I would like to see more unique buffs/debuffs.
I'm still only playing for around 5 months, so please don't eat me alive if I said any nooby nosense xD

please? Thank you.
They're just Rebels. They're used on Rebel teams.
The Rogue One tag was added because there's a Rogue One mission in Territory Wars. It's organizational, not functional.
