Which Veteran Smuggler first?

Which Veteran Smuggler should I farm first, Han or Chewie? Is one more useful than the other, individually?

I’ve been farming one up a star level, then the other a star lvl, then back and forth. This may not be the best, but I like it because if they ever get added elsewhere(guild shop?) then I can maximize shard intake from that source. Otherwise, I don’t think it really matters which first.

This is basically what I did, for no other reason than both have to be 7* and it’s such a pain to farm them that a little variety helps the grind. That said, I’d be surprised if they show up elsewhere. They’re meant to gate RJT, and the outrage that we’d see from the player base would make the recent kerfluffles seem like sibling spats...

I seem to be having a better drop rate for chewie. ATM I have 74/100 for chewie and 53/100 for Han and I haven't even spent or refreshed the cantina energy today yet.

I’m probably in the minority about this opinion but I do not think they are useless. They both hit very hard and have good synergy between each other. That being said, they do need a Scoundrel leader to become effective. If they had Resistance tags you would see a lot more of them. I’m hoping Bossk leadership will affect Scoundrel’s as well as Bounty Hunters.

OP. It doesn’t matter which one first.

Even though I voted that they're useless without each other, I only did so because it was the only "it doesn't matter" option.

IMO, the only reason anyone is getting these two is for JTR. And since you can't do it without both, it doesn't really matter how you get them as long as you get them both to 7*.

I'm sure they're ok. But I think their "useless" tag comes from how much work is required on them...just to get them "so-so".

Alternate stars. That way if you need to buy the last 10 shards on each it is easier than 20 on one.

They are actually useful as part of a scoundrel "clean up" team in TW. They hit hard and stun/ability block. But they work best in tandem.

They're not useful in relation to the grind needed to get them, but they do have their uses.
