Massive Attack DMG question

@CG_Carrie @CG_TopHat Are we to assume that all 3 of these are doing 99.999k of dmg when executed in all game play including the Sith raid? (we know DN wont defeat the raid boss, but should do the 99.999)

Raid bosses are immune to massive damage, so Savage won't work. The only exception is Nihilus, who instakills normal units and deals massive to raid bosses.

Raid Boss are immune to Massive Damage. They are not immune to Annihilate which only does 99,999 to Raid Boss.

    This
  • Nihilus is not doing Massive Damage, but a special exception of it. IPD and Savage are doing "normal" Massive Damage. We are presently reviewing whether or not Raid Bosses should be immune to "normal" Massive Damage, but it's low on our current set of priorities. WAI.

"normal" Massive Damage? (oxy ****) also with IPD being the DSTB prize toon shouldn't it be allowed to rattle off 99K once it's able to be in the raid?

So wampa can hit hundreds of thousands of damage in a raid with each smack, but 99,999 is too exploitative to let a probe droids explosion do what is it supposed to for a pitiful amount of damage by modern standards.. WAI (read WAI as whyyyyyyy for full effect)

No. Massive damage=99K. Instant defeat is exactly what it sounds like. There is a big difference.
  • Still dumb not to happen when others do more than that and don't die.

but in no case do they do it right away. its a building process to get up to damage numbers over 99k.

I would also imagine that IPD and saveage are coded the same, so right off the bat they would probably be ok with IPD being able to do this damage but have to examine what opening up that door to savage looks like.
