How do you best utilize Death Trooper?

I'm working on my Imperial Troopers lately, mainly to have a counter against the countless Nightsister teams popping up. However, I heard DT is quite good in the Sith raid, but I have no idea how to utilize him.

Can anyone please give me a few pointers what makes him good and what team compositions, that include him, work the best in what phase.

Kill anyone, apply death mark, hit it till you quit it (or until you can apply death mark again and do it over)

For heroic difficulty you want to pair him with han solo, for the other tiers he works best in combination with other troopers + thrawn.
I really enjoyed using my troopers with thrawn, unfortunately it's way less effective in heroic.

Kill someone, use deathmark on raid boss, attack with multi-hit attackers. Boba, Han, Leia, Thrawn, etc. Group attacks work as well, GK or Veers group attack, Jedi heals under GK lead, etc.
