Where is CG?

Is anyone else wondering where cg is in all this? We have heard little to no feedback on the may 4th events. Most of the community from what I’ve read is rather upset with this years rewards. Now I enjoy free stuff as much as the next guy but I’m sure many of us would like to hear from CG what their thoughts were behind this years May 4th events. CG has done a wonderful job in the past month keeping the community updated and responding to concerns. And since the raid fiasco with rewards it seems communication has fallen to the wayside. Looking forward to what CG has to say and to hear others thoughts on this.

If they responded every time someone complained here, they'd never work on the game. They have a whole year to do it differently if people are that upset.

I think we can safely assume they thought bonus drops would be well received at least as well as double drops, and maybe not compared to them so directly. I base this on them not setting out to make players angry.

Really? I mean, I'm fine with what we got but there's no way they didn't think certain people would be mad because bonus drops /= double drops.

If they forsaw it I think they would've got ahead of it. I think at this point they realize certain people will be mad at anything. If they had done double drops, someone would have found a way to get mad. I think the last time they did double drops people complained they weren't told the day before or something. The boards natural state is complain.

I think they had to announce the double drop more weeks / 1 week before the 4th May. Imo the double drops are better than these bonuses but I understand that they want to give the chance for new players who never had the chance to collect the 6 characters in the marquee event.

I hope for 17th June 2018 they can give us a reward for "I am your fathersday 2018" in SWGOH.

I didn't catch that. The thread got no information about the events before the 23rd May 2017.
