Mismatches between the Event Calendar and Actual Events

According to the event calendar, the ghosts of Dathomir event was supposed to come back today, and tomorrow was supposed to be the Defense of Dathomir event. The Ghost event didn't happen, and the Defense event isn't showing for tomorrow. Was there a change in the event calendar? Or just a bug in the game?

The first event isn't due until tomorrow, I imagine a content update/hotfix will happen today and they'll start as scheduled tomorrow.

Actually what has happened @Goodgil , your local is ahead of the devs , the event is scheduled for the tenth, its currently still the ninth dev time. There should be a client restart or update today to load up the various incoming events.

OP, not sure on your local time, but all calendar events are based on the local date of the dev team.
