So far, mods have been a snooze fest for me: Farm mods, look for speed secondaries, level them up a little to see if a speed pops up, put some useful ones on lower importance toons, sell the rest, repeat.
But recently, I had a lot of fun modding a particular character. I tried out TFP in my arena team (don't judge), but he was going before EP had a chance to stun everyone, so I had to remove most of his speed secondaries to slow him down. That's when it happened. I was actually looking for mods that played to his strengths and helped his weaknesses, comparing stats against each other. This was the most fun I had ever experienced with mods.
For me, this experience showed that it was a terrible idea to introduce a speed modification ability into a turn-based combat model. Mods could have been so much fun without a speed stat. But alas, the genie is out of the bottle and can never go back in.
Hopefully, you will have a similar fun experience with mods. Until then, stay speedy, my friends...
