Broken Fleets

I've worked hard for 2.5 years sto build toons and ships. The new fleet alignment has destroyed my Tarkin strategy and ruined fleet battles. I've got 7 max ships and ones like Kylo, Vader and Fett to 6. In the new format my previous good fleet is useless because of the reinforcement restrictions and the loss of synergy. Please reconsider this format, the call-in boosts are pablum when you are already two ships down. Max ships with 10g pilots or higher. I hope this is seen by a he devs, this is not for general discussion. Thank You.

Did you upgrade the abilities of your capital ship?
Since you've been playing since before ships were introduced, why are some of your pilots still only g10? Try improving them and test your fleet again.

I have battled a few Tarkin fleets and find them harder to beat than before the update.

i play for about 2 years and got my vader,biggs,tfp,fotfp, thrawn all to g12 for fleet arena working on reaper and pilots still but vader on 6* after over 2 years is just low. Even i played totally casual 1st year w/o even looking much at synergies.
And tbh i love the change finally i got chance to get in to top 5 with my fleet due to not having reaper, shore and DT maxed out on stars and gear to be competitive in top 10 of my shard.
For the record i am full FTP didn't spend single $ on game but you do need to have some strategy and farm some stuff to be competitive in top ranks in both arena's.

You've been playing over 2 years, don't have maxed out pilots, and were using Tarkin instead of Thrawn. I don't think the ship update is your problem.

All money buys you is shorter acquisition time. After 2 years you can easily have a 7 star GK and more G12 than that without spending a dime. I've played 1 year and spent $60, which has zero to do with my GK or my gear since I only use it on crystals for energy refreshes, which go to shards and mods, not gear.

The new ship update sucks. I used to be able to get at least a 1* win in ship challenge, now I don't even get close. 1 ship gone before I even get a turn, they get 2 capital turns to my 1. So it's quickly a 4x2 battle. Oh and the enemy ship damage isn't nerfed, just mine. Bad update needs to go away.
