The new direct message system is a step in the right direction, but I wonder why a player does not get any notification that they have received a DM. In my guild, we were hoping this message system would help us communicate directly with new members, but since there are no notifications, new members have not even noticed that we have reached out to them in that manner. An inbox notification would increase the value of the DM system exponentially.
