Boba Fett Execute Omega clarification

Deal Physical damage to target enemy and dispel all status effects on them. Deal 30% more damage for each effect dispelled. If this attack defeats the target, they can't be Revived and Boba Fett reduces his cooldowns by 1; otherwise, inflict Healing Immunity for 2 turns. This ability can't be Evaded.

So the attack CAN be evaded? Just the ability, healing immunity, can't be evaded, OR?

I see people saying the execute went right through foresight but these are 2017 posts, so he was likely changed since then so really not sure on this.

Vader's Blade Omega says "this ATTACK can not be evaded" which is more clear to me.

TIA

  • Healing immunity is a status effect.

Execute refers to itself as an ability. That ability cannot be evaded.

It may seem a little inconsistent with Vader's Culling Blade description, but only attacks and abilities are "evaded", while status effects are "resisted" not "evaded".
  • The description of Kylo Ren Command Shuttle's Advanced Jamming Array says: "Dispel all buffs on target enemy with a 70% chance to remove 30% Turn Meter and inflict Healing Immunity for 2 turns, which can't be evaded. Also inflict Ability Block on target enemy for 2 turns, which can't be Evaded or Resisted."

Apparently we can "evade" as well as "resist" status effects.

Nevertheless the whole thing is still just one ability, with multiple effects.
  • Hmmm, things clear as mud as usual.... lol

Do you have a Fett with this Omega that does not have the attack evaded? I want to give this but only if it the attack that can't be evaded

Neither the attack nor the debuff can be evaded but the debuff can be resisted

Edit: Also just so your aware execute does not prevent nightsister zombie from reviving as her revive can't be prevented. Just to save you time on making a thread later about that it is working as intended
  • Execute can not be evaded , and it doesnt matter is foresight is up, it hits thru and uses foresight as one of the damage boosts. Bobas execute is one of the handy attacks because it strips buffs as well as debuffs from the target.
  • Perfect thanks all definitely spending on this when can!

The wording descrepancy might be because the healing immunity is new since the BH rework. But with omega, the attack definitely can't be evaded.

It's clear to the observant reader. Runabout's 1st post is spot on.

Status effects can be evaded. Poe's taunt will clear foresight and not land any exposes on whoever had it
