Basically thrawn is sherlock homes tryin to find a traitor in his ranks (empire of the hand) he finds hand of judgment and recruites them and sets up thrawn and an all out warfare thrawn campaign thar would be awesome

Actually, we have no idea where Thrawn was sent at the end of Rebels. After the Battle of Endor, he has still not shown up nor has Ezra, so Ahsoka and Sabine go looking for Ezra.
In the Thrawn Trilogy, Thrawn shows up again from the wilds of space with his fleet to fight the new Republic several years into the Reconstruction of the Republic. Any new story could just pick up after the battle of Jakku shown in Battlefront 2 to follow current canon.

This made me laugh so hard. I would absolutely pay to see that movie.
