Endurance and republic ships are amazing in p5&6. They keep regaining protection, shifting taunts keep anyone getting low alive, plo and jc as reenforcement group heal protection, clone serg arc taunts as a reenforcement, and endurance ultimate shrugs off the tie swarm (survived it twice with no damage). Starting lineup is biggs (g12), umbaran (g11), rex (g12). Mace at g11. Plo (g9), clone serg arc (g10), jc startfighter (g9), ahsoka (g11).
Now granted, the combat feels a lot harder than before and I don't believe it needed to be; getting 3/3 wasn't always a given after platoons. Perhaps it needs further tweaking because many of my guild wasn't able to do it (49 @116M gp). But the meantime, I hope the above strategy helps.
