Ships 2.0 Unbalanced

It was good to here there had been an update 2.0 to the ships with new upgrades. However I now find the gameplay worse off and unbalance. 5 vrs 5 was balanced now if opposition goes first takes out a ship and then they have a reinforcement 1st it can be 4 vrs 2 and you have instantly lost but you have to wait another 3mins before you actually lose. Where as in 5 v 5 I felt I had a better fighting chance. Plus millennium falcon upgrades to me make it worse off.

Care to elaborate on what ships you are using and what you are facing?

I feel it's normally a problem with gear and/or mods or people running ships with no synergy. I have all my pilots G8+ that I routinely use, two ships close to fully maxed out as well as my capital ship and I can climb as high as the top 10 against teams 25-35k above me. I'll only drop to the early 20's overnight too.
