It's the range that they use to draw you in. I've purchased credits numerous times over six months and maybe 1% was over lowest range given. You go into it thinking of the possibilities and leave feeling robbed....its a lie and a scam

You had to purchase "several times" before you realized this?

My point is, they tell you what the range is.... You made the purchase, then made it again, both times getting the bottom of the range.... Then you kept going and purchased again expecting a different result......

Didn't you learn after the first couple of times?

@BubbaFett don’t believe what’s written on the packs. It’s like 99% chance of 5 shards and like 0.01% to ever get 330. It’s a marketeing trick and they don’t have to disclose the “Odds” of drops so Guilible players like yourself get taken advantages of

I realize that..... I only had to make one purchase of a 5-330 shard pack tonkesrn this.... If I did it "numerous times", I would be mad at myself, not EA......
  • Well I've only ever bought credits....bought a card once and felt swindled so never again...but credits aren't much different

Maybe you should go to different post where your conceited comments might help....i see no good in what you have to say.

    Sometimes the truth hurts.....
  • Wow, it took you a lot of time to understand that you should never buy those packs. Never ever buy 5-330 shard packs unless you want to get only 5. If you want to spend money, buy the ones that guarantee you a certain amount of shards (For example now The Range Trooper Bundle gives you 30 shards and other cool items).
  • dude, if you expect sympathy you won't get it. I mean, if it took you multiple purchases to figure out common sense that they won't give more than the minimum for chance packs, you should be mad at yourself.
  • Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is?

And one more thing bro @BubbaFett.
Wait for that character to come out in shipments. Paying 1200+ crystals for 5 Shards is the definition of getting swindled where as in the shipments it will cost 1299 crystals for 16 shards.

Not a lie or a scam at all. They have weighted odds and you will always score within the range stated.

This. "Lie" and "scam" are overstatements. The drop odds are more in line with a street hustle or a carnival game. Go watch Adventureland...

But they could take the 5 and 7 options out. That would at least make it somewhat worth it. I mean, ten shards would at least be worth the crystals.

Sure..... Except the bell curve looks more like a ski hill slope, a very steep one.....

It's like going to a casino to play roulette, you look at the wheel and put all of your money on black, then the dealer switches the wheel out for one that only has one black space on it.....

Sure, they aren't lying because technically you could get anywhere between 5 and 330..... But the greasy carnies at the fair aren't lying when they tell you that you can win a giant teddy bear either.....
