Can I get 5 star Chimaera?

Do I need to level up Wedge or anybody? I'm hoping that the Chimaera event will be tuned to be beaten in ships 2.0 with the same difficulty as 1.0, unlike the ship challenges.

We don't know. The event hasnt run in ships 2.0 yet. You wouldnt get it in ships 1.0 with that squad.

Id try to push all the crew of the uwings to g7 as thry are easy gear and having extra ships worth calling isnt a bad idea.

In ships 1.0 i found thr battle very much about surviving with enough relevant ships until ackbar could use his special. Assuming this is the same you probably want to have at least two relevant ships on the bench.

Before ships 2.0 you would easily have gotten Chimaera unlocked. The event was quite easy back then. But now with all the changes? As Naraic replied: We don't know.

The best tjing, you can do to prepare is to stockpile ship building materials and maybe credits/gear to.develop your pilots, and then only use them on your ships/pilots if you can't win the event.

I got Chimaera! Not too difficult, although Biggs nearly died. He was the only one close to dying, the others were full health. I ended up calling two reinforcements and the enemy did too (just TIEs).

Tiers 1-4 were easy peasy. He does get reinforcements however.

Sadly can't do Ackbar for a good long while as I'm trying to get Tarkin up so I can do abilities. So no idea on 5*

for those of you aiming for 7* Chimarea in the future. It took me 2 tries to beat tier 7. Here were the rebel ships I used:

Biggs, Ghost, Phantom starting. Wedge as 1st reinforcement, Cassian as 2nd. You'll see my Cassian **** as well as my Home One. But I have a very solid Biggs, Wedge, Ghost and Phantom that carried the team. It was a challenge even for my team.
