How Long to grind up a new ship to max?

I know the answer depends..... how many pilots, start from zero or a few stars, etc.

But, generally how long to people use as a calculation?

Even a comparison vs. 1.0 would help.....

Which ship? Some are frequently available in the Galactic War Store, so you can go from zero to max pretty quickly with those. Others are infrequently in the Fleet Arena Store (TIE Advanced, Slave 1, and Scimitar), and take forever. Forever. I just finished Scimitar last night after farming it for, I don't know, 8 or 9 months?

EDIT: Ghost and Phantom II (and others) are also in the Fleet Store, but appear more frequently than the 3 I mentioned above, so should just take a couple months. Cassian's U-Wing is in Cantina Battles, so can go pretty quickly if you're refreshing Cantina 3x per day.

Ah.... Lets assume that I have Bistan's U-wing at 7 stars, pilots at 7 stars, g9. Have spent zero ship omegas.

I guess I'm mostly interested how long to max the ship omegas.

The popular sentiment seems to be that drop rates on ship omegas are horrid at best, and there is no reason to invest in new ships. But, I'm still interested in how long.
