Old republic faction tag

Why don’t HK47, Traya, Nihilus, Sion, etc have the old republic faction tag? Especially considering HK was revans Droid...

Probably a minor oversight, as they just introduced this tag. Or they plan on "old republic" being needed for something and don't want to give away free old republic characters?

I believe because they will reserve the tag for characters literally a part of Old Republic. Not all characters from the Old Republic era. Similar to the Galactic Republic. Unless all those guys were members of the Republic, I don't know the lore.

Or they just haven't added in the tag yet. It's not like anything keys off of the Old Republic tag yet.

It's there, only Bastila and Jolee under it.

I mean they haven't added it to any other characters who might get the tag. Like Visas or HK-47

The characters I listed were all part of the game. HK was a member of the same team as Jolee and Bastila—Traya, nihilus, and Sion were main characters in KOTOR 2 (Bastila, Jolee, HK, T3, etc. were part of KOTOR 1)

Yes that’s what I started the thread for. Saying they should add the tag to Visas, HK, and the sith Triumvirate as currently only Bastila and Jolee have it.

I'm saying they might intend to add it and just haven't yet, because it doesn't do anything yet.

And "Old Republic" is a thing. An organization. A nation. Sion, Nihilus, and Traya were not a part of it. They were part of the Sith Empire.

Just like not everyone in the Rogue One movies has the Rogue One tag, because that tag means they were part of the strike team, Rogue One, named in the movie.
