How do you score 1 point in raids??

So how can someone score 1 and only 1 point of damage in a raid? Ive seen this on raid scoreboards and just wondered if anyone else has seen or experienced this and if so, how did they do it? Ive seen it done in Heroic Rancor phase 1 and Sith phase 1. When I asked people how they did it, they usually don't know.

For Sith raid p1 Phoenix teams can't get through nihilus prot often doing little dmg

Typically going in to tag when a phase crosses over, you did no damage, but the game assigns you a point cuz you were in a battle, even tho you did not score anything. That’s basically what a couple guys I know determined after meddling around to see how to duplicate it.

If you inflict a debuff it is 1 point of damage
