The way collection Score works makes no sense somone please explain

After a quick look, it seems you have more 7* characters and more G11. The collection score basically says how close you are to maxing everything, so every upgrade on every character or ship counts. What you lack in G12, you compensate for in other areas. I wouldn't lose my sleep over it, CS is not very useful statistic anyway.
