Why can Phoenix ignore taunts on this tier. It’s hard enough the way it is but ignoring taunts is nonsense.

Because that is how they programmed it. All your toons have a stealth taunt that expires when first damaged.

Don’t all of the mythic tiers do that?

My screen actually dimmed today waiting for my turn. That is a little excessive, I think.

They respect taunts, but at the start of the match your characters have a hidden taunt that will expire once they're damaged--the point of this is to spread the damage around instead of having six characters steamroller Shoretrooper immediately. Spread damage is a bonus to the player.
