Keep upgrading or get new

So I took the time and invested in savage which I'm very happy with. Went through again and made him 4 star. Should I keep going or get someone else. At what point do you say "ok he's at a good point now I can focus on a new character?"

You may suffer long term by switching gears at this point. I suggest staying the course. Having a solid toon is better than having 3 soft toons, and eventually you'll max him out and be able to switch gears then.
I jumped around changing my mind often, and now those toons are unused in favor of the ones i remained focus on.
