Current mod question

Can someone explain how protection % works on mods from what I can see it doesn't. Taking my FBL. I have a mod the gives him + 474 and another mod that gives him +2.13% yet his stats say 474 protection. It it a case you have to have a protection stat on the mod with the % for it to work? Since all other stats % work. I know it doesn't really matter since the mods are being updated, but it could carry over.

Mod calculations are only based on "base values" not mod values.

Base values are the values given by closed sets of gear.

Yes, but he has a mod that gives 474, and is getting zero benefit from the second percentage mod.....

Op, what gear and level is the toon?

Characters need be at Gear 7+ to have bass protection added. Every gear you go up the more base health and protection you will get. It takes some time though
