Not enough energy or sim tickets

Hey guys,
I just wanted to farm a bunch of gear on a ships node. I had 137 energy and about a million sim tickets (exagerated there) and the node was 8 energy a piece. I got 17 sims for 136 energy and it said I didn't have enough energy or sim tickets... I tried again, same message. Now I'm at 1 energy and no gear whatsoever!
Goodbye well earned energy...
Anyone had this before?

It's a bug, it's happened to me before, I can't sim so I restart the app. It's never taken energy from me though
