Counter to Traya Teams

As the title states, I’m curious what teams people are using to successfully defeat Traya teams (other than another Traya team). I’ve tried a few and haven’t had any luck at all, and my shard’s top 50 has become almost entirely Dominated by Traya teams.

I have not personally fought traya, but I’ve heard thrawn lead with magma trooper is really good against Sion on offense. Rex lead as well. Someone from somewhere posted a f2p Rex lead squad with only a four star nest. They had Rex, nest,CLS, thrawn, and Nihilus. Worked really well, saw a video of it. I think also the traditional nightmare team with Vader has a 50/50 chance of winning. I still see those in the top.

Correct. The team I use is Thrawn Magma IPD EP Deathtrooper. Thrawn TM swap with DT who uses special to increase cooldowns (and clear any taunts). EP special removes health from IPD, who then blows up Traya. DM then works over Sion, spamming his special to remove everyone else's TM as much as possible.

If there is an opposing Thrawn faster than mine I put Shore in for Magma to eat the fracture, because if their Thrawn fractures anyone besides Magma on the opening turn then the whole thing goes haywire.

I've had less luck, but some luck, using JTR team with RT Holdo as my plus 2. Super high crit chance on all to try and overcome the crit avoidance, plus use RT basic each turn instead of special to give a better chance of expose. I don't try this often but once in a while because the other team is absolutely terrible on defense.

Never heard of the nightmare team (or haven’t heard it described that way.) Who is it comprised of?

Bastilla Lead jedi team can easily beat Traya teams. The problem with it is, it doesn't hold as well as Traya in defense. My 50 is comprimised of Traya majority, 10+ Bastillas and a few exceptions.

Nightmare team is Ep(lead),Vader,Thrawn,NH+insert tank.

I haven’t had any luck with my Bastilla team at all...any configuration of them. And based on the demographics of my shard, I’d say most of them haven’t either. Bastilla teams are all but extinct there already.

I’d really try magma trooper and thrawn if you have them. Also, I’d add in death trooper. I don’t think it holds well on defense, but it’s an amazing traya killer. One guy put thrawn, magma, and deathtrooper against just the triumvirate on auto and the empire won. Not saying that’ll happen every time, but the AI was smart.

Bastilla is quite relevant in top 100 (and not as much in top 20). Of course anyone with the option to do so goes with Traya.

Even this titans team is capable of making it. When people start to reinforce it with their Chewie's (5* or whatever) it will slowly make a coming back into the meta for anyone that can't TRAYA xD.
