Everyone is bent out of shape on it because thes characters have been free to play for a month and 3 of them are hard nodes this is a cash grab i wouldn't be upset if it where delayed a few weeks or a month i might stand a chance than and im a dolphin

i really fear two things:

- if this hero is overpowered and i have to struggle in the arena as i did the longest time against traya-teams. i hope the sith-lords still are very good in arena. otherwise i‘m sure i will not try 4/5 times to climb some ranks.

- if the sithraid for revan-player becomes super easy and all no-revan-player levelled, farmed and geared their teams for nothing and cannot reach the top10 any more.

dont care if i get revan, and i dont think f2p would get him, there is way too much farm for about one months time. obv. not much fun for the ppl who just started and spent considerable time and refreshes to unlock vets, and hoarded gear and zetas for months and still didnt get a full g12 resistance team and within very short time have a hero that will make jedi unbeatable. bastilla/gmy is already prety nasty for me, depends what comp they have, seems nighmare is easier. dont think u can get vet's even in 120 days with no refreshes either, 3x is really alot. it could be done with 1 refresh a day, if it were 120 days until the event, but i dont think anyone saw it coming it would take a whole month longer then normally. it took some time until jtr ended last time until i could farm vet's because i wasnt right lvl to unlock the nodes, and when i could i was doing 3x a day and trying to save a little crystals every day to buy shards for the days i had bad rng, as to stay within the 10 avg. shards i neede to hit it before she would return if it was a 90 day cycle. so i guess im a f2p 5% crybaby lol

I wouldn’t worry about arena. They have never created a team that is unbeatable in the arena even if it does become the meta. There is a large amount of the player base that hasn’t got traya yet, so they won’t phase her out anytime soon so I expect her to still be the best team for a while. Plus this is only Jedi Knight revan. There are clearly more revans and stories to come so they have to leave somewhere to go power wise.

I expect him to be like the new chewbacca. Creates a new angle and some fun tactics when taking on traya and might boost the Jedi a bit. That’s all

These polls are never a good idea tho. You'll only get whales defending their pathological spending, f2ps angry like a baboon with an itching back and the "I'm above all this" guys stating that they expected it and you're stupid to be angry. Like you can't be even angrier because their greed is so ridiculously predictable.

Revan will go as always: 1 or 2 months of meta destruction, then the nerf, the required toons in the f2p shops and on to the next one. No reason to discuss that much.

This was just poor management by CG. They aren’t going to make much money off of this. Revan should have been used to make people farm over long timeline while they can hit us with additional content. Now we have 3 weeks and know we are toast and will farm at our own pace.

Even though i really think it’s quite low from cg to wait until the last second to reveal the kit, the fact is there is very little chance of Revan being bad/useless. Another thing is a lot of people are simply fans of the character.
So i’m not really surprised by this tbh.

Huge KOTOR fan, so when I found out they were coming to the game, I started (really, KEPT, as farming was slow for a while) hoarding my top 50 arena, top 5 fleet payout crystals, and had 40k crystals when Jolee and Bastilla came to the shipments. I think CG's main cash cow they need to keep alive is the HSR, so I doubt Revan will topple the triumverate, probably will just whallop zPalp leads even more and keep the paper-rock-scissors meta in place (which CG seems to like).

Now DARTH Revan, possibly the first 'Hero's fall/villian's journey' will probably supplant or make the triumvirate even better, as CG really wants people to keep gearing a faction, have it fall out of favor, then gear the next meta.

Either way, I don't understand the blame-placing. These toons stuck out like a sore thumb - exactly five, all with their own unique tagm with no special mission. If you don't get Revan now, another week or two likely wouldn't make the difference, just get him next time around.

Nope. And I don’t care one bit. Let the whales have something special for once, they have spent many dollars on this game.

I doubt many people will get him the first time anyways, so all I have to worry about is the second time around. This gives me motivation to farm marquee characters to seven stars, usually I don’t try so hard.

I’m glad CG made this decision, it gives me something to look forward to as I wasn’t be even close to getting him this time. I’m not feeling as a f2p player that I’m missing out on anything.

Sometimes when you run a business like this, the business would like to take very good care of the people who spend the most money on the game, you will find his business mentality in many successful businesses whether it’s an American Express black card holder, a highroller at a casino, etc.

The people who are the most upset naturally are the ones who spend very little or no money at all. So you just do not understand reality in general. The people who spend money keep this game going so you can play. This is a cold hard fact that everyone needs to come to grips with.

Did I buy the packs during the marquee events? Absolutely. Ever since all the KOTOR characters have been farmable have I been throwing every single Crystal I have at them? You betcha. I want Revan bad. Am I going to get him this time around? Not a chance in hell because I cannot afford To spend what is necessary to get him. I love Revan but I love to pay for the food on my family’s dinner table more, much more and I’m thankful for that.

Am I a little upset sure I am but I am not ready to hang myself over something like this. If CG wants to reward the biggest spenders they have with something very nice then I can completely understand that actually. I will stay the course and I will simply just get Revan the next time around.

Let me ask the community this question, if you were running this business how would YOU take care of the biggest spenders you had on this game? How would you show your appreciation to them as customers? Unless you can answer those questions, it’s my humble opinion that all of this outrage is immature.

I spent $20 on two packs I would hardly call that a significant amount of money. I bought those packs to give me a jumpstart on leveling them up to seven stars. And also to spend what I could to support the game that I love. To make a contribution when I can and also get something that I enjoy using, which is Jedi.
Some people are going to spend anywhere from around 300 to 800 bucks to get Revan. I’m not gonna **** and moan if they get it before me or if at the same time I get it someone who didn’t spend any money at all gets him also.
