6th Character for Events

I've (only) played the first 2 Tiers of the Revan event and he is available in the 6th slot. I really liked it.
Wouldn't it be nice if, like PVE and Cantina battles, we could use a friend's toon on the 6th slot for events as well ?

Sure, but they'd have to rebalance everything to account for not only a whole extra character's worth of health and damage output, but potentially insane synergies from having two leader abilities active. Imagine how absolutely bonkers a Resistance team would be with both JTR and Finn's zeta leads active.

We have it in some places and it is balanced for such a team. But as stated above everywhere they add that would need to be rebalanced.
