30 minute outage?

Can't find anything on the forum about the in game message about a 30 minute outage today. Anyone know anything?

And it was dated for Tuesday Oct 30th not today

We'll, I guess I should have read it more closely! Not sure why they'd give us a week notice though. Guess it's better than than nothing. The forums probably would skewer them if they had a short notice 30 minute outage. Thanks for correcting me!

it seems strange to have a pop up now. they may have it pop up everyday to remind everyone what is happening

My guess is the 30th is a typo. This is probably for tomorrow. A week notice is not normal.

CG CEO: I dont get these players. Yeah, theyve had only 1 week to get 5 marquee chars to 7star, but theyve also got 1 week pre notice for the server maintenance. Why are they not happy?!

SPECIAL EVENT – HEROIC DEFENSE OF DATHOMIR
Starts: October 30th
Ends: October 31st

It's on the event calendar. Probably have to just plug the update in for what ever is going to be "heroic" about it

They said its a normal defense of dathomir. Its a typo. If it starts on the 30th and update is mid day alot of people would be upset.

but grievious is not a droid.... he just counts as one in-game

personally i like this reasoning better: "Maintenance is for machines...droids are machines..." Separatists are almost all droids... General Grievious is a Separatist

there is always a payout happening at least it is scheduled towards the beginning and not right at the end.

At least they are letting us know. The chewie thing was always a good joke, but there hasn't been any serious outages in awhile
