Sion torment ability vs Revan team

This ability says the cooldown reduces for each opponent without pain. Several times while facing this team it will be sions turn, no enemies have pain and the the cooldown will still be two or three. Is anyone one else experiencing this glitch? Does EA know?

  • the cooldown is reduced just after using the ability :(
  • Cd goes down for every character that resists pain on the turn torment is used. Theres no check of who has pain at the beggining of Sions turn that will reduce the cooldown.
  • Strategic Advantage clears debuffs if I recall correctly so it may be that pain got applied (and Held By Hatred cooldown reduced) and cleansed afterward
  • That is not how the language of the ability describes it. It says for each enemy without pain the cd is reduced. Not the cd is reduced for each enemy that resists pain. There is a clear difference. They even have abilities structured around this dynamic like cls and mt. This is a mistake
  • Deal Physical damage to all enemies and then dispel all buffs on them. Then, inflict Pain on all enemies for 3 turns. Reduce the cooldown of this ability by 1 for each enemy without Pain. This attack can't be Evaded.

    If they don’t have pain, then they must have resisted it.
  • Read the spell detail above chronologically... Although it actually dispels then deals damage...

    Dispel any buffs
    Deal damage
    Apply pain to all
    Any enemies without pain reduces cooldown

    So if you use it, and no enemies get pain on them, it reduces the CD by 5. (then once again the next time Sion takes a turn)

    If you use it and one enemy gets pain, reduces cooldown by 4.

    In all cases, as explained by other posters, the cooldown reduction ocurrs immediately after the skill is used. Not on next turn.

    Nope you misinterpreted : the check on Pain presence or not is immediately after application, turing the same turn.
    When it's cleansed afterward has no effect on Torment's cooldown.
    Check the Held By Hatred cooldown : if it's reduced by more than 1 then Pain was applied

    When were you expecting the CD reduction to apply? At the start of Sion's turn? I can see how a quick reading of the ability description could read like that but the fact that the CD reduction is tied to the ability tells you that it applies when the ability is used.

    It's part of the special ability and not a unique. The pain check only applies when you use the ability.
    If it was meant to reduce at the beginning of sions turn it would be a unique and say as such.

    If Torment was avoidable the wording would have made a difference.

    That would change the ability though. It’s possible an enemy toon could have already had pain but resists the new application of pain. No cooldown reduction since the enemy has pain.
