Uneven GW tokens

Okay, so it was a lovely idea to be able to buy some shards in the weekly shipments store with 100 GW tokens but now I'm stuck with 300 tokens I can't do anything with. Why does this game always feel like the devs don't think the things they do properly though?

Just don’t buy the shards, I weighed the importance of a little shard shop currency vs my OCD and concluded it wasn’t worth it.
If they offer it for another 3 more weeks then I’ll have much regret, but I doubt they’ll do that.
