Rebel Roundup only giving 5 shards of each

It’s not like they are easy battles. So why does it say 10 of each and give 5? I guess if this is a bug won’t get an answer :-)

Can you receive the same character or ship twice as a reward? In that case, you'd get 5 + 5 shards of one character or ship.

They have an unclear way of presenting awards that shows the max value you can receive. In this case, I think the above is why we see that. You can get double the same toon giving 10.

Yes. I've received one character from time to time. I get 10 shards.

I can accept a typo as an answer. I guess it should show 5-10 shards instead of “10”

Pretty sure its that drops are in 5's for shards and you can get double of some toons.
My thing is more the relatively low rewards for difficulty, i can finally beat tier 3 and got 10 shards total and some T3 and 2 ship ability mods(useless)
Replace those T2/3 ship ability mods for T4 and different story.
Or add some currency, for the theme of the assault battle it would make more sense if you got credits then useless ship ability mods.(like 200K for T1, 300K T2 and 400k T3) it is is rebel roundup so for BH your turning them in to the empire for $$.

That means it's not bloody likely. If you do get ten, there's a good chance it will be ten of a character that doesn't even need any more shards.

I don't know what the wording was but it seems like you get 10 character shards and 10 ship shards total. Maybe you get 5 each for two characters or 10 for the same

these types of bugs normally just get text corrections. like was said 10 is probably the max you can get so if they "fix" the bug it would probably just be changing it to 5-10.
