What do all of the character statistics do?

I'm a little bit fuzzy when it comes to the stats in this game. I figure strength has to do with physical damage and maybe health, agility with speed and accuracy, but what about intelligence, tenacity, etc.?

I apologize if the answers were hidden in plain sight but I never found any explanations in the game menu and the various forum conversations...

If you click on the graph at the bottom of the character's profile screen, it will show you all their stats and explain what they are.

To get the most information on stats put your question in a search engine. This gives you the opportunity to save old and new Stat charts and compare, especially when the meta changes so much.
