Grand Arena - Three rounds? Do I need to save units for each round?

Grand Arena currently has three rounds against three different opponents and I only have to set one ship squad and two other squads for defense in round one (the last GA I had to set three squads in each sector). Will all of my units reset for round two or will all round one units be unavailable in round two?
