Data Card vs Regular play.

Do you guys Think as a new player it's wise to spend money on buying Data cards to help you advance in the game or should you just play the game as it is?

The best value for money, especially for a new player, is buying crystals and spending them on refreshing energy.

If a data card says 10-330 you will most likely get 10. It is very unlikely that you will get 330 or anything even close to that.

Aside from crystals, you're occasionally offered bundles with a guaranteed number of shards plus gear, training mats and money. Those can be a big help early on and you know exactly what you're getting. Just make sure you'll be able to farm the character and star them up further after unlocking them at 2 stars.

Is it wise? Do you have sufficient disposable income that you can afford to spend money and get nothing of real world value from it?

Is it efficient? It can be, but you are double gambling. You can hoping for a good character, and then you're hoping for enough stars to make them viable. You could get Darth Scion and use him to dominate low level arena until maybe level 80. But you could also get CUP or a Tusken, who are completely useless.

In the long run, using shards for refreshes to increase your farming rate will serve you better. At least until you get to the point where dropping ~$300 for each new character isn't an issue for you.

I suspect the answer here is no. If you have fat stacks you don't mind parting with, then you wouldn't be asking the question. If you just have a few bucks to throw in the kitty, I think it will just make you sad to see how quickly it goes and how little you get back.

Still, I do like some of the $20 character packs. It's a decent return and you know exactly what you are getting.

U advance with crystals and max refreshes before the cost increases. U obtain crystals mainly from fleet and squad rewards.

So u can compete at a lvl to get top rewards the free way or whale out on lineups that will put u there with minimal skill if u have thousands to spare. The choice is urs some spend money in a casino I’d relate that return of investment to spending it here.
