Gear slicing

I know gear is the main source of money for this game. At least I heard that a lot. But could you consider to make it possible to also slice gear like mods?!

An example. You need a G5 Stun gun and you could slice 5 or 10 G4 Stun guns to a G5 with some slicing materials like on the mods. That would be great and also to 1000+ stacks of gear that no one needs suddenly had a purpose!

Lol 5 or 10. If they did this (which I doubt) it would be more like 500 or 1000.

I agree with Don : experienced players have several thousands of useless gears but some gears are rare and over required to up levels. When I saw my guild mates asking all the same gears, I think we all are in this case.
To convert gears would really be fine. And please find something for useless gears
