The Allies Button

I may be alone in this, but it seems like the Allies section is taking up prime real estate disproportionate to it's importance. I use Characters, Ships, Inbox daily, and I imagine everyone from Level 1 to 85 does too... but I've only ever found myself in Allies after prompted by an Arena battle to add someone, or in the few instances I knew someone personally who played.

Additionally, the Invite/Manage/Request Status tabs have a lot of dead space, and could easily be combined into one without becoming too cluttered. Could this not all be moved to the Player profile section to make space for something more valuable to have front and center?



Personally I'd rather have a Gear and/or Mod section so that I can favorite, find, sort, craft, and equip everything from an item-centric menu instead of a character-centric menu. I realize that's another discussion entirely, but there is definitely other existing content that I want to access more frequently (Squads anyone? Raids? Grand Arena?)
