Absolutely - certainly a missed opportunity in the Special Editions, instead the changes they made were the "Who shot first" catastrophe with Han and Greedo, where they make Greedo shoot first (because Han is no longer the cool scoundrel, but a "nice guy") and Han's head moves slightly to dodge the blast and ends up looking like a poorly digitized Thunderbird puppet - ridiculous, lol
How about him "stepping" over a horrendous CGI Jabba? That's one of the worst changes in ANH. Could have just had it cut to someone else's face for the few seconds it took to say the dialogue.

If someone ever stepped on Brando's Don Corleone's shoes, that would have been the last thing they did. It undermines his notorious and danger "crime lord/gangster" persona - his entire character.
